Detox Smoothie

Recovering from a big night out or maybe overindulged in too much processed foods? Your body will love this nutritious juice to help cleanse the body and get rid of unwanted toxins.   

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries & raspberries)
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup dark leafy greens (spinach or kale)
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • ½ avocado 
  • 2-3 stems fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  • ½ squeezed lemon
  • ½- inch stem of ginger, peeled and grated
  • ½ a cucumber, peeled

Method

  1. Peel and chop all the fruit and vegetables. 
  2. Place all the ingredients into the blender, ensuring the coconut water and leafy greens are on the bottom.
  3. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, until smooth.
  4. Serve into a tall glass & enjoy!
