Goal Oriented Fitness App

Home Is Where The Heart(rate) Is

You might not have access to a gym, or the time to schedule in a workout, or maybe you just don’t want to leave your house. But just because you can’t (or really don’t want to) go to the gym doesn’t mean you can’t get your heart rate up with a HIIT session at home. We don’t need to remind you that regular exercise offers both physical and mental health benefits, so making sure that you have a consistent routine at home is key to keeping your body healthy and strong.

What’s more – and if we’re being honest, this is the real kicker – is that when you’re working out at home, you can do so in your own time, on your own terms, and maybe even if you’re feeling up to it, while watching your favorite TV show in the background.

We’ve put together a list of our favorite tips for staying fit, healthy, and boosting your immune system, all from the comfort of your living room.

App(ly) yourself

Virtual workouts have become a cornerstone of much of the fitness industry over the past few years. As such, there are many excellent fitness apps out there. These apps have been developed with users in mind, and workouts are often led by some of the wellness industry’s most sought-after trainers.

GOFA Fitness is powered by AI technology. This kind of software tracks and measures users’ performance, helping them correct their form, prevent injury, and track their progress. Moreover, having access to an inclusive fitness app like this one will also put a whole world of workouts, spanning across several different categories, at your fingertips.

Nourish yourself

You can work out as often as you like and as hard as you possibly can, but you also need to make sure that you nourish your body and give it everything it needs to function at its best. When you’re eating optimally, you’ll find that your performance during your workouts will improve too.

Try getting in your daily dose of greens with a delicious smoothie, or instead of ordering in a cheeseburger, why not make these wonderfully easy and tasty zucchini and corn fritters? Making healthier choices for your body will go a long way in helping you stay fit and healthy, even when you’re missing out on a gym session or two.

Routine is king

One of the biggest things we miss out on when we workout at home is going to a physical location. Believe it or not, all the frustration you have about sitting in traffic or trying to make it to your spin class when your end-of-day meeting finishes five minutes late usually helps us create structured routines. Routines help make working out every day that much easier. When working out at home, it’s easy to deviate from yours.

Schedule a block of time for your daily home workout. To help you stick to your routine, allocate a space in your home just for exercise. Set your app up, mirror it to your TV, and you probably won’t even miss those spin classes anymore.

Workout with a buddy

One of the biggest attractions that gyms present is the fact that they provide us with a sense of community. Having people around you to hype you up and get a few more reps out of you, even when you’ve given up on yourself, is truly something that can never be replaced. This is why we recommend having a workout buddy. There are plenty of advantages to working out with a friend, both in-person or remotely.

Find your workout buddy, connect with them, and the two of you will be able to help each other stay accountable for every workout. You’ll also be more motivated to get moving, just from knowing that someone is there rooting for you with every step and every press.
